New Starters - What to Expect
Every child’s start to school life is a vitally important period. At Southbroom, we do everything we can to make it a smooth, happy, and positive experience. Our early years team place a strong focus on assisting children with the transition from home to school life.
We start all reception children on mornings for a couple of weeks while they settle in and learn our routines. Most children then come to school on a full-time basis, but when children are not yet ready for full-time education, we are happy for them to come on a part-time basis until ready.
