At Southbroom Infants’ School, we understand the importance of establishing a community that is driven by positive traits, beliefs, and attitudes. As a a values-based school, we have seen first-hand the benefits that accompany a large group of people working toward one common aim.
Values are defined as “principles or standards of behaviour; one’s judgement of what is important in life”. Through lessons and assemblies, we teach our pupils about a variety of values and the positive impact implementing them can have on their lives. These values are also demonstrated every day by the actions of our staff. This helps pupils to become responsible, well-rounded people who are respectful, honest, and care for others.
